Slot Machine Tournament How To

Slot Tounaments are an event put on by casinos in which each player purchase a certain number of coins and the goal of the tournament is to be the player with the most number of coins after a specified amount of time.

Slot tournaments are fun to play. there is nothing quite like competing against another player for a title and a grand prize. Some people play in slot tournaments because they are competitive people and this affords them the opportunity to play a game they love and compete at the same time. Other people play in slot tournaments because they know exactly what their potential losses will be, before they start playing.

The format for a slot tournament is simple, after signing up and paying your entry fee, you are assigned a slot machine and given a time limit in which to play. At the allotted time you return to the area and find your assigned slot machine. When you are ready an official will tell you when to start.

The actual play in the tournament couldn't be easier. Generally you will be given a set amount of credits, usually 1 000 and a set amount of time, 20 mins is the norm in slot tournaments. When you begin each press of the spin button is worth the maximum coins for that machine (typically 3). With each press of the button the appropriate amount is subtracked from your credit total. Your winnings are kept track of on a seperate meter. At the end of the alloted time, any credits you might have left of the original amount are lost.

Once your time is up or you have played through all your credits, wait for an official to come along and record your score. You will likely have to initial the score to verify it was written down correctly. Once this is done you are free to leave as another player will be along shortly to have their turn. Casinos only set aside a small number of slot machines for tournaments so a tournament may last all day but you only have to play for 20 mins.

The slot tournament will likely maintain a running scoreboard that will be updated after each session has been completed. This will allow you to come back throughout the tournament to see how your score is holding up.
